Life Happens

Our lives here have been so busy, but a good kind of busy, a productive kind of busy. I just marvel at how well my college student son is doing. He is gaining so much experience in his field of art and has so many opportunities; he works as a gallery assistant at the college, and also has a steady job here in town. He is doing well in his studies - balancing work and college - and bought his own car well over a year ago now. He commutes, mostly because he wanted to keep his job here and have room to spread out the art projects without worrying about a roommate's space or time. It's been so interesting and rewarding to see him develop his talents and pursue his education now outside of home schooling. And to think we knew him way back when....ha ha...

You can see his recent venture of work at the college via this link: Kursk Art Exhibit and Auction Reception He helped set up the gallery of beautiful Russian landscapes, helped with assisting those bidding at the auction (an on-line endeavor)and recently helped take down the exhibit and set up a new one for the month.

I wish you could see the beautiful artwork personally - simply gorgeous. I'll post one example here.

Now I'm ready for SPRING!  Bring it on!!!

Thanks Lynn ~ it's a lot of work but a lot of reward :) I'm actually starting to get ready for next year - I'll have another senior ready to graduate.
Blessings!
